Neighborhood Loop

Today, I rode around the neighborhood again, my third time. I started much better than in previous times. My goal was to shift to second and third gears on the long streets and to second gear on the short streets in a smooth manner. Previously, I had been shifting awkwardly, moving my whole left foot to shift, offing my balance slightly. While not an issue at low speeds, it could turn into a very bad habit and perhaps throw me off the bike one day.

I stalled once because of my nerves. I was at a stop sign before a car and felt pressured to go, knowing I take off slow. I stalled then waved the driver to go ahead. I'll also have to work creating a good balance with the release of the clutch and application of the throttle. I am becoming more confident in my turns and applying throttle during them.
